Synthesis, Characterization and Biological Screening of Azepine Derivative: 2-hydroxy-1,3-di(naphthalene-2-yl)-1H-benzo[b]azepine-5(4H)one

چکیده
The synthesis of unsaturated heterocyclic compounds containing nitrogen atoms in the ring is very important due to its various biological application pharmaceutical industry. Azepine derivatives find numerous almost every field medicinal chemistry and some are commercially available as drugs. two-component azepine were synthesized by using aniline maleic anhydride a starting material followed condensation with sodium borohydride presence dry benzene, subsequently cyclization polyphosphoric acid then, finally an addition reaction naphthalene-2-ol form desired derivative. formation derivative was confirmed spectral techniques such IR, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR. antibacterial assay shows that compound (2A) possesses most highly potent activity Bacillus subtilis moderate against other different strains bacteria fungi.
